 Hello! My name is Devin Yang and I am a 2-D Digital Artist advanced in Adobe Photoshop, passionate in character design, adept at time management, focusing, and learning new things. I am currently a student at Northeastern University in Boston MA, studying Game Design and Digital Art under the College of Arts, Media and Design.

 Ever since I was a child, I loved to make-pretend, creating characters for myself to role-play as with my friends on the playground. I never really realized how my past activities could develop into something I'd enjoy one day, but that realization came after I began my journey into the world of video games. Naturally, I found myself appreciating all the wonderful work put into creating such a thing, and feeling inspired, began learning how to draw, how to paint, how to render concepts of my own characters. I found a passion for concept art and character design, and if anything, I desire for a career as that kind of artist in my future.

  I believe that concept art has a power to inspire others to create and to let their imagination flow, which I why I continue to make the work I love making. I want to be able to say that I have influenced at least someone outstanding in reference to their reputation, to accomplish something large, something selfless, something that would make me proud. Until then, I am determined to refine my skills both as an artist and as a person of the world, reveling in  the process of content creation and collaborative think jams with peers.
